QA Engineer (Junior) (Remote,Contract)

We're currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and have a knack for finding bugs before they reach production, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through our tracking system.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and follow-up of quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.

Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
