VP of Operations

Clipboard Health (YC W17) is a fully remote company that works with healthcare facilities such as hospitals, assisted living facilities, and rehab centers to provide on-demand nursing staff. Our mission is to enable healthcare professionals to work when they want, and where they want, and to enable healthcare facilities to get staff when they need it.

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven VP of Operations to direct and manage our organization's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs for a complex marketplace. Duties for the VP of Operations will include organizing and coordinating a double-sided marketplace CS team working with both our facilities and healthcare professionals, formulating Processes and policies, monitoring and motivating staff, managing the P&L, hiring and training employees with a clear and proven process, and identifying trends through thorough data analysis. Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with clients, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, creating scalability, and meeting our growth objectives.

The successful candidate for this role is capable of moving quickly and adjusting to the trends of the marketplace, possesses excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions (specifically CS for our facilities and healthcare professionals), exceptional budgeting and finance skills, strong analytical abilities, and superior leadership qualities. An ideal candidate has a proven growth record and experience managing the P&L for a marketplace. The VP of Operations should account for all business activities on both sides of the marketplace, support staff development, enhance efficiency, improve fill rates and revenue, maintain relationships with clients, and maintain a deep understanding of our metrics.
