About the Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) at Income Discovery, you will contribute to our web application, server side components, and strengthen our operational capabilities.
- Help define specifications, implement, and test new features for our products - both user interfaces and server-side components.
- Share the responsibility for deploying, monitoring, and securing our application in AWS.
About You:
We are looking for a person with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience with an interest in web front ends, server-side development, and devops. It is important to be productive with minimal supervision, know when to ask for help, communicate well through writing, and be comfortable with video conferences.
Join our innovative and agile development team. We use GitHub, practice code reviews, and solve problems together. Our services run in the AWS cloud, their deployment is automated, and we follow the infrastructure-as-code process.
Excellent understanding of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, modern web development frameworks (like React or Angular) Java, software engineering, and computer science basics are required. AWS, Terraform, TypeScript, Clojure, or Go are a plus but not mandatory. Document or SQL database experience, Linux skills would be helpful.
Income Discovery employees work exclusively remotely, however, you will be required to be available and working during East Coast business hours (EST). Employees have a choice of working from home or from a co-working space near one’s home.
