We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to help manage and upgrade our current infrastructure while ensuring degrees of automation across our engineering environment. This includes, but is not limited to: CI/CD pipeline, centralized logging, Infrastructure as Code, server administration, container orchestration, version control, build repositories and more.
What Success Looks Like:
Getting ramped up
The first 30 - 60 days, you’ll be building an understanding of infrastructure and engineering environments. This includes understanding current application and performance metrics, CI/CD, and more.
While you ramp on tech, you’ll also be resolving a diversity of mid-tier technical issues that are not exclusive to servers and system administration.
Building towards automation
Beyond those initial two months, you’ll start to drive clear automation. This means working with our team to recommend and apply process improvement across the organization. Automation is core to this role (and for the right person, should be the most exciting part as well!)Additionally, you’ll also begin to tackle more mission-critical technical issues that are escalated by our NOC.
Upgrading and Maintaining Infrastructure
Beyond the first couple of months, we’re hoping you can begin to inform meaningful change as it relates to our systems and tools. We’re still exploring an opportunity to upgrade and/or migrate certain things and so you’ll be expected to play an instrumental role in this.
