As the Product Manager, you are the champion of our products and have a passion for solving complex marketing automation problems through web-based technology.
With responsibility for the development and implementation of our AppCloud product strategy, you work closely with customers, partners, and prospects to identify appropriate markets and their needs in order to determine what products to develop and how to bring them to market. You will develop, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap and support handoff to marketing and sales.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define, commit to, and track the success of our AppCloud product by gathering, analyzing, and communicating key performance metrics
  • Oversee competitive research for our products to ensure we build and enhance our products to provide our customers with business value
  • Build and own the “voice of customer” process to ensure our products are aligned with our target markets. Provide summarized feedback to key stakeholders and adjust the product roadmap to align with customer feedback
  • Support the AppCloud quality assurance process
  • Create/support the creation of end-user AppCloud documentation (https://docs.relationshipone.com)
  • Drive the roadmap process for all AppCloud products, including gathering support and buy-in from the functional stakeholders and executive team
  • Support sales and executive team leadership to develop product revenue forecasts and costs, with a focus on maximizing product profitability
  • Scope new features and product requests with internal and external customers
  • Document stories and act as project manager between the customer and development team where necessary
  • Participate in our end-user support management processes
  • Oversee the prioritization of features and bug fixes and make sure the work adheres to priorities dictated by company, competition, market, and profitability goals
  • Work with Marketing on branding, collateral, messaging, and positioning plans. Make sure product/service announcements and release communications reflect our value propositions. Support copy-writing for marketing assets, as well as writing internal and external product documentation.
  • Work with Sales on tactics, value proposition, and other sales enablement tasks. Make sure that Sales is set up with the right information to succeed.
  • Work with Services on product delivery, execution, customer feedback, and product support. Ensure customers are happy and getting what they need from our products.
  • Manage the quality assurance (QA) process and conduct QA tasks
  • Manage the ongoing support process to ensure our customers have a great experience with our products.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years in product management or similar position
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years with marketing automation and/or CRM tools
  • Extremely comfortable working in ambiguity and solving complex problems for customers
  • Must be able to negotiate with Executives, Internal Stakeholders, Customers, and Product Engineers on new functionality as well as enhancements
  • Working knowledge of web-based applications, REST and SOAP APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data warehouse concepts
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to lead conversations around client requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for software developers
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Working knowledge of product planning/roadmap/sprint management tools like Aha! and Jira
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation software (e.g., Oracle Eloqua, Marketo) and/or other Oracle Marketing Cloud products preferred
  • Working knowledge of user experience prototyping tools (e.g., UXPin) preferred
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, motivation, initiative, and a start-up mentality
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as an active member of the larger team
  • Located within the Minneapolis metro area preferred but not required
