About the Role The Interledger Foundation seeks an innovative and creative Tech Lead to join our welcoming and inclusive team. This position will drive the Interledger Protocol, related projects, and will contribute to the successful growth of the organization.

As Tech Lead You Will Be an integral member of the Interledger Community of Developers Collaborate with the community and partners to determine and lead which technology based projects and standards work the Foundation will focus on Design, implement, and test software across the Interledger Protocol stack, both frontend and backend Deliver presentations related to Interledger at meetings and conferences Have an opportunity to build the department and IT team from the ground up
Your Experience 5+ years of software development experience on large scale distributed systems Track record of building and maintaining performant micro service oriented software products Know the ins and outs of Node.js and are up for working in Java and Typescript Demonstrated ability to proactively manage tasks and projects independently
Nice To Have BS in Computer Science or similar Hands-on experience with the Interledger Protocol stack and/or Rust Familiarity with the Interledger and/or payments ecosystem
Location: The Interledger Foundation is a fully remote organization, so this position can be based anywhere
