You will have the opportunity to work in a small team building a cutting edge digital product focusing on financial wellness. We’re looking for a Node.js developer who takes pride in their code and loves proactively solving challenges. You’ll be building a new application entirely served out of a storage blob; but supporting dynamic personalization and access control via AWS AppSync and AWS Cognito along with integrating a new ML based recommendation. Working in a small team with one other React developer, a tech lead and a product manager, you will launch a new cutting-edge product in 2021.
Responsibilities
Technologies: On a day to day basis you will be coding in javascript and leveraging the following technologies:
GraphQL
AWS AppSync
AWS DynamoDB
AWS Lambda Functions
AWS Resolvers
AWS Cognito Pools
AWS S3
Tools we use We use VS Code, Visual Studio, GitHub, and PostMan, Azure, AWS. For managing our work we use Jira Kanban boards along with Confluence for documentation and for CI/CD we leverage GitHub Actions. We also use Slack and Zoom for video conferencing.
Qualifications:
NodeJs
NoSQL (Dynamo, MongoDB)
Experiences with JSON
Experiences with cloud-based applications
Experiences with CI / CD
Nice to Have
Experience with front end framework like Gatsby, or ReactJs
Experience with GitHub Actions
Experienced with AWS technologies (Lambda Functions, DynamoDB, S3 etc.)
Experienced with event-driven design, TDD (Test-Driven Design) or DDD (Domain-Driven Design)

You:
Passion for learning
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
1+ years of experience building apps with above technology stacks
Self-starter and self-motivated
A great collaborator who enjoys helping other developers
