Wealth Factory is a small team of money nerds, marketing and technology professionals that create books, tools, and services that help entrepreneurs and creators keep more of the money they make.
We're looking for a full stack designer to support our remote-first growth team across a wide range of projects that will help grow our company and cement our brand as a leader in the space.
Your objective will be to capture and promote our company vision by creating impactful designs and building the ‘client-side' of our brand experience. You should be able to translate the growth team and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. Ultimately, you should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user experience.
For this role, you will work directly with the growth team, which includes a full stack developer, project manager, and copywriters. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean design, possess a knack for UI, and be able to translate high-level requirements into agile and functional user interfaces. If you have the ability to convey messages and information through good design and user experience, we'd like to meet you. This role reports to the CMO.
As a Full Stack Designer, you will:
- Translate growth and marketing objectives into outstanding design.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Produce final design solutions (like landing pages, interfaces) with a focus on mobile first design and implementation
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards to maximize aesthetic consistency
- Present rough drafts to product managers and/or key stakeholders to gain approval
- Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments
- Optimize applications for maximum speed
- Collaborate with back-end developers to improve usability, manage data flow and troubleshoot issues
- Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
- Write functional requirement documents and guides
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience working as a designer with a focus on growth and marketing, marketing sites or membership sites, landing pages, brand elements etc.
- Experience with modern design tools (e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Strong, up-to-date portfolio of work demonstrating exceptional UI/UX design and Front-end development skills. Include your online portfolio link or PDF in your application, including any required passwords.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to meet deadlines while working on team projects and thrive in a highly collaborative, fluid, fast-paced creator environment
- Attention to visual details
- Strong communication skills. Able to communicate ideas and designs and explain your thought process.
- Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines.
- Strong sense of accountability. Able to take ownership and lead growth design.
- A desire to work in an environment which values speed of iteration and individual autonomy.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
