UX Designer

About the role

At Pulsely, we are changing the way companies develop and implement their D&I strategy through the use of science and data. We're looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to help us take our D&I solutions to the next level. In this role, you will work with a brilliant team of data scientists, software developers, business analysts and strategists to build the world's most powerful D&I data-driven platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Conceptualise original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Present designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders and refine based on input
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Be the guardian of graphic consistency in reports, presentations and communications in general

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and thirst to investigate innovate and develop emerging creative and technology trends
  • Graduate degree in a design-related field or equivalent experience
  • Portfolio showing strong user experience and visual design work
  • 5+ years of experience in startups or similar fast-paced scenarios
  • Knowledge of tools that both support the activity and ease the integration with the team (eg Sketch, Figma)
  • Ability to translate graphical work into something the development team can pick-up and execute
  • Experience building infographics, to translate data and information into actionable insights
