UX Designer

About the role
At Pulsely, we are changing the way companies develop and implement their D&I strategy through the use of science and data. We're looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to help us take our D&I solutions to the next level. In this role, you will work with a brilliant team of data scientists, software developers, business analysts and strategists to build the world's most powerful D&I data-driven platform.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualise original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders and refine based on input
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Be the guardian of graphic consistency in reports, presentations and communications in general
Requirements:
- Knowledge and thirst to investigate innovate and develop emerging creative and technology trends
- Graduate degree in a design-related field or equivalent experience
- Portfolio showing strong user experience and visual design work
- 5+ years of experience in startups or similar fast-paced scenarios
- Knowledge of tools that both support the activity and ease the integration with the team (eg Sketch, Figma)
- Ability to translate graphical work into something the development team can pick-up and execute
- Experience building infographics, to translate data and information into actionable insights
