Teal Communications, Inc. is a telecommunications company located in Bellevue, Washington that is looking for a motivated and experienced java developer (JD) to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years’ experience working with java, Spring framework, REST, MongoDB, MySQL and AWS. Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, telecommunications and/or Internet of Things (IoT) industry is a plus.
The Java Developer will report to our Technical Directors and work tightly together with our Software Developers in Europe. The JD will work in an agile environment using tools as Jira and Bitbucket and deploy and test the software in AWS environment. It’s crucial that the Java Developer has an open mind and a drive to solve any issues with help from the other team members and any other available tools. Further, our team is distributed in various time zones so off hour work hours may occur. Responsibilities:
Develop and fix bugs on Java backend server. Continuously work on the next version of the java backend server Iterate and test new releases for the server Set up automated tests of the server
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. 4-7 years’ experience as a Software Engineer with professional track record Very good knowledge of Java and Spring framework Good understanding of telecommunications, eSIM and the Internet of Things (IoT) industry Communication skills including ability to communicate with all levels within the firm.
Compensation:
