DevOps Engineer - Azure

1VALET is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our fast-growing group on challenging software projects that combine Smart Building automation, IoT hardware, the most powerful smart entry system, Web portal and mobile apps, advanced parcel scanning, facial recognition and hands-free digital access. You will work closely with our DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for speeding up and automating aspects of the processes of developing, testing and releasing software, allowing for the continuous delivery of software and software updates.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT (System or Network administration, engineering)
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, Systems Management, Networking and Agile principles
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud and Docker (Docker swarm is a great asset)
- Experience with C# (PowerShell and Bash are good assets)
Key responsibilities
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- Ensuring that systems are available and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Support other teams by developing tools and automations to simplify their work
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Creating CI/CD pipelines and building out robust deployment automation
- Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results
