You have strong technical skills building SaaS products and are excited by projects that introduce old school markets to novel technologies. You see communication and timely execution as two of your key strengths. You keep yourself educated and competent in leading edge web technologies and developer tools. You have experience mentoring and growing junior developers as well as collaborating with and elevating other senior developers.
In addition, you should have:
- 5+ years experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and web frameworks (we use Express, React with MaterialUI, and React Native)
- 5+ years experience with SQL databases (we use both MySQL and Postgres)
- 5+ years experience with RESTful APIs
- Extensive experience conducting peer code reviews
- Experience and willingness to write test cases (integration/unit) for code and manually QA your work
- Experience with cloud hosting (we are multi-cloud hosted; GCP, AWS)
- Familiarity with using Kubernetes and Docker
