Finance & Operations Manager (USA, remote)

SketchDeck is building the model for the next generation of creative agencies. We blend software and a global creative team to efficiently deliver high end creative. We work with a range of clients from startups to well known enterprise brands (Dropbox, Remy Cointreau, Okta).
We are looking for a self standing finance & operations manager to support & scale our day to day processes at SketchDeck. This includes:
  • Manage account administration including contracts, SOWs, invoicing, refunds & AR
  • Manage designer & team hiring process & onboarding
  • Run AP process (primarily via bill.com)
  • Track operational metrics & run analytics, including proactively reviewing / understanding key operational metrics & alert team to outliers / help needed / opportunities
  • Manage the company wiki as a valuable resource for the whole team
  • Identify and coordinate training
  • Find ways to optimize and automate recurring process
  • Look for opportunities to improve operational impact & productivity
  • Manage shared inboxes
  • Design, manage & scale other operational processes as needed
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years experience in an operational role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage many operational processes with minimal direction
  • Experience managing billing, invoicing, AR & AP
  • Demonstrated ability optimizing and / or automating processes
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong numerical & analytical skills
  • SQL knowledge a plus (interest to learn is a requirement)
