We're looking for a contract Graphic Designer to help us build out the LAUNCH brand, update our materials/collateral and take our online presence to the next level.
You have to be nimble enough to take on new projects and solve problems in real time with your own judgment.
Responsibilities:
Working closely to assist the Marketing & Sales team with all things related to design.
Lead the design for sales/marketing collaterals, such as media kits, sales one-pagers, etc.
Podcast:
Create podcast graphics such as iTunes Artwork, Youtube Thumbnails, Instagram/Twitter meme videos.
Create short/long form clips for This Week In Startups podcast, natively formatted to each social platform (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc)
Events:
Creating graphics for social ads, such as Google, Facebook, Instagram ads.
Creating the backdrop design for the stage at our various events.
Requirements & Skills Required
Quick learner.
7-15 years of experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Design experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design)
Video editing experience (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After-effects)
Desire to work with a team-based, entrepreneurial company
Be frugal but never cheap -- and understand the difference.
Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
Be exceptional at productivity and communications software (i.e., Google Docs, Keynote, CRM, CMSs and whatever the next cool tool is).
Startup experience is a plus, but if you fit the qualities above you'll understand what we need.
Pay is $50 - 100/hour depending on experience.
