Senior Python Engineer needed - REMOTELY

1. Pre-seed, post-revenue data privacy company from Chicago, backed by the Mozilla Foundation and YCombinator's Grant Program. 
2. The best appointment management and scheduling system for salons and spas in the USA. You'll be meeting a distinct need and will be responsible for independently managing and driving high-level business requirements and developing the technical details behind them.

• Strong software development skills with Python
• Majority of the experience at a company where software is the core product 
• A background working at startups and product-focused companies 
• Experience in working with a company that has a strong technical and engineering culture
• Databases (not required, but preferred)
• Basis of JavaScript (infrequent front-end modifications)
• At the very minimum 4 years of professional experience
• Conversational or fluent English (at least B2, ideally C1)
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases, SQL queries, Redis, Sidekiq, Elastic Search, APIs
• High level of proactivity and resourcefulness - it’s a dynamic startup environment, you’ll not have preplanned & extensively described Jira tasks, the expectation is to suggest the best solution to the assignment from yourself

• Shape new products that enhance our solution for different target groups
• Participate in the entire product life cycle
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Drive the development of a new product internally
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Work closely with our CTO and product team to establish priorities and manage our technical roadmap
• Build and manage a team of 10-15 people

• $75,000 - $90,000 annually (regular raises every 6 months)
