Documentation is critically important for open source projects since education and training is the main way that we grow the user base. We are looking for a Technical Writer to take ownership of the Hummingbot documentation process and contribute to our other resources.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the Hummingbot documentation site (https://docs.hummingbot.io)
- Collaborate with engineers to understand changes they are making to the open-source codebase
- Write documentation aimed at both trader users and developer users
- Mentor junior staff on technical writing
- Be part of the core team and make a significant impact in a fast-growing, VC-backed blockchain startup
You're a great fit if you have:
- 3+ years of experience writing documentation for complex software applications
- Experience creating developer-facing documentation (e.g. code samples, architectural diagrams, etc)
- Experience using Terminal/Bash, Github, and Docker
- Good composition and grammar skills
- Experience with quantitative trading or cryptocurrencies
- High attention to detail
