As Director of Reliability Engineering you will be ultimately responsible for defining and driving the charter and mission for Reliability Engineering at SailPoint. You will develop the people, processes, and tools that ensure the reliability, resiliency, and performance of a complex product suite built by a globally distributed team that processing tens of billions of events annually. Leading multiple teams of talented Reliability, Performance, Security, and Test Engineers you will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Software and DevOps engineers, and other Engineering leaders to continuously measure and improve the quality and reliability of SailPoint's SaaS services and products.
What You’ll Make Happen
- Own, innovate, and create programs, new software, and analytics that drive improvements to the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of SailPoint's SaaS services and products
- Work in close partnership with product engineering to build, observe, and operate fast, reliable, and durable production systems
- Balance competing priorities to ensure we effectively ship new features while resolving defects and managing technical debt
- Recruit, develop, and motivate multiple high performing teams of engineers and engineering leaders

Requirements
- 5+ years in an engineering leadership role, preferably working on a SaaS product
- 5+ years of hands on experience as a Software, DevOps, or Reliability Engineer
- Experience leading or managing several of the following disciplines: Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineer in Test, Performance Testing, Product Security Engineering, Test Automation, Compliance
- Deep knowledge of agile processes and workflows
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field, MBA or other relevant Master’s Degree preferred
