We are currently looking for someone based in the U.S. that has experience in supporting an enterprise Linux product.
This is a full-time position
A Typical Day
- Monitor Linux servers and respond to alert outages, resolve problems ASAP
- Be able to read, follow, trace system logs, and provide reports of errors that should be addressed
- Monthly Maintenance (including OBS storage, Server & DB logs, Patching, etc.)
- Confirm and test SQL backups
- Work on strategic plan for scale and server security
- Standing up new sites for clients
- Responding to security questionnaires
- Assist in resolving IT issues within the company
- SOC yearly audit
Desired Background
- Solid Linux experience (server configuration and tools)
- Proficient in MS products (Teams, 365, One Drive, Exchange)
- Programming/scripting experience (ideally PHP)
- Cyber Security Experience
- Server monitoring
- Pen Testing
- SQL experience a must(MSSQL a plus)
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Customer support experience a plus
