Most of Muck Rack’s growth to date has been a result of word of mouth from both PR professionals and journalists, our content, our daily newsletter, and a successful longtail SEO strategy. Muck Rack has deep product-market fit, a sizable addressable market, strong organic growth and thousands of happy customers. 
We’re looking for a performance-driven growth marketer to play a leading role in our next level of growth. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using a variety of digital marketing channels (such as email, chat, SEO and paid advertising) and has a proven track record of managing integrated campaigns that generate qualified visits and leads. 

Responsibilities include

  • Acquire and engage with key personas from target companies. Refine existing acquisition marketing programs and test new ones
  • Own campaign development and setup for online marketing efforts including emails, landing pages and ads
  • Prioritize and project manage growth experiments to ensure ongoing optimization of acquisition efforts and to test new tactics
  • Manage our SEO strategy, optimizing on-page and evaluating off-page sources for high-quality traffic
  • Test and optimize paid advertising 
  • Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing across email, content, and social
  • Measure marketing effectiveness and regularly implement changes to improve performance

Preferred skills and interests

  • 4+ years of B2B marketing experience
  • Experience executing campaigns that generate qualified leads and pipeline
  • Superior project and management skills
  • Results-focused with great attention to detail, superb execution and follow-through
  • Strong writer (esp copywriting) and proofreader
  • Email marketing experience including creating, segmenting, and optimizing for engagement
  • SEO and on-site conversion rate optimization (CRO) experience
  • Hands-on paid advertising—particularly search engine marketing (SEM) and retargeting experience
  • Able to effectively prioritize important vs urgent tasks
  • Able to quickly learn and become fluent in new technologies
  • Resourceful when you need design and/or technical help
  • Strong analytic skills and advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and Google Analytics; SQL experience preferred (not required)
  • Experience with Hubspot strongly preferred
