Software Engineer QA

Our Engineering & Innovation group is looking for a Software Engineer (QA) with wide experience in software testing to join an international group of engineers at the SUSE Manager QA team. SUSE Manager is an open source solution for managing software defined infrastructures at scale, from bare-metal Linux systems to containers and Kubernetes clusters.
Responsibilities
You will be working in an international, distributed team providing quality assurance for SUSE Manager. There you will
- Be passionate about software testing, creative and proficient
- Be great to work with
- Work together closely with the development, release and documentation teams
- Improve the existing test automation and framework
- Design, write, run and automate test cases
- Demonstrate troubleshooting and debugging ability
Expectations
- Typically 2+ years experience
- Experience with Ruby, Python or similar languages and Bash scripting
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Good understanding of automation and infrastructure management tools like Terraform or Jenkins
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in verbal and written English
