We are part of the Connectivity Group CG and are looking for motivated passionate and talented engineers to join our software team. We are a strong vibrant cross site team which helps drive Intel's programmable switching technology and products to position Tofino as the switching platform of choice and for the Cloud and Data Center network deployments develops switching technologies and software use in integrated system and processorsIn this position you will gain invaluable experience which will allow growth and expanded opportunities within this business group as well as future possible opportunities with other business groups within Intel. Responsibilities entailsDevelops software as the primary job functionDesigns and develops test methodologies for complex softwareMay work directly with companies that are developing and optimizing compilers, operating systems and other software technologies
Qualifications
Minimum QualificationsBS Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field and 6+ years of industry work experience6+ years of experience of programming skills in C and or C++ and OS such as Linux QNX4+ years of experience in designing and developing high performance switching or routing software4+ years of experience with design and development of Layer 2 Layer 3 ACL or multicast networking control and or data plane softwareAdditional Preferred Qualifications6+ years of experience in operating system architecture such as memory management IPC scheduling task switching concurrent memory access event driven programming6+ years of experience with software design and development in at least one of these area1+ years of experience in QoS and traffic management drivers1+ years of experience in Port and SerdesPHY drivers1+ years of experience in PCIe DMA drivers and Linux Kernel Modules
