We are looking for a passionate DevOps engineer with a strong 'get things done' attitude and attention to detail to join our engineering team. Junior and mid-level Engineers are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
If you…
- Are an advanced Linux user
- Have a good command of the English language, in spoken and written forms
- Have familiarity with Docker container and Docker compose
- Have familiarity with orchestration tools (especially Rancher and Kubernetes)
- Want to automate everything using tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Have familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (GitLab CI)
- Have familiarity with monitoring tools (like Zabbix, Grafana and Kibana)
- Are eager to constantly learn state of the art technologies and experiment with them
- Have knowledge of network concepts and protocols is a plus
- Know what iptables is and how to properly secure a server is a plus
- Have familiarity with DB setup and administration (Postgres, MongoDB and ElasticSearch) is a plus
- Have experience in cloud based applications that scale to thousands of requests and Terabytes of data is a plus
- Have background in operating and scaling distributed applications using the above tools (preferred) or similar ones is a plus
- Have hands-on experience in remote setup and operation of Linux servers is a plus
- Live in Athens, Greece or Kyiv, Ukraine is a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor and provide 1st level support on running services
- Implement and optimize different parts of the infrastructure, including but not limited to server commissioning, orchestration, server security, DB setup,monitoring, and alerting
- Collaborate with your team members to continually improve working processes and share knowledge
