Head of Business Operations


We are looking for a Head of Business Operations to help grow and support Contra’s core leadership team. You will work closely with the executive team to help shape company strategy, refine our financial planning and lead scenario planning across multiple aspects of the business.
How you’ll add value at Contra:
  • Ensure all systems operate smoothly and align with our long term strategy / goals
  • Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures
  • Establish production KPIs and conduct quality assessments
  • Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
  • Build processes that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance
  • Monitor financial data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability
  • Coordinate with the HR department to ensure our hiring plans meet our business needs
  • Take into account the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans
You’ll be successful here if you:
  • Previous experience in Business Operations
  • Good knowledge of marketplaces
  • Experience with financial forecasting models
  • Experience with databases and project management software
  • The ability to interpret financial data and create easy to understand budgets
  • Growth mindset and self-starter
  • Clear verbal, written communicator
  • Data-driven and sharp “on the spot” problem solving
  • Empathy for Product, Engineering teams (has product-led mindset)
  • Familiarity with relevant business models (subscriptions, marketplace, SaaS)
