Senior Automation Engineer (Typescript)

We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test with automation experience and a strong passion for problem solving to join our team. Working closely with the developers & product owner, the successful candidate will be someone who can drive and oversee the testing effort. Whilst the primary focus is on test automation there will also be an element of assisting with the functional testing of our product.You will need to be available during normal CET working hours.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:Work as part of the delivery teams with a focus on test automationWork closely with developers to write acceptance & integration tests in typescript / javaDefine QA metrics and reports that will be used to determine & communicate testing resultsDocument and raise defects conciselyContribute to small development tasks on our platform when requiredWork closely with product owners and team delivery leads to assist in release test automationImplement solutions for automating manual e2e & API test plansWHAT YOU BRING:BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field & 4+ years' experience in test automation or software developmentExperience designing & executing automation test plansExperience programming in TypescriptExperience with Cypress (preferably) or other similar test automation tools like Selenium or SerenityExperience testing REST / event-driven web services in a microservices architectureExperience with git version control systemAbility to contribute productively to a fast-paced development teamBONUS POINTS:Passion for Blockchain / CryptocurrenciesExperience writing and performing load testing using tools like GatlingExperience testing Angular applicationsExperience testing GraphQL & NodeJS applicationsExperience programming in Java
