Our subsidiary plans, projects, develops, configures and manages efficient systems and applications along our value chain as our central IT services provider. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Conceptual design, development and operation of new and existing features for the online shops of the P&C Group
  • Further development of our cloud-based e-commerce platform based on microservices and Kubernetes. Primarily these are realized with Scala, furthermore Java and Node.js are deployed
  • Advising the product owners on the conception and planning of new features
  • Work in an interdisciplinary, multi-gember, agile Scrum team
  • Work in autonomous development teams with responsibility from conception to operation of your services
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Several years of experience in the development of service-oriented architectures with Scala and/or Java
  • Experience in using frameworks such as akka-http, akka-streams, akka-actor, Play and/or Spring, as well as Java EE
  • Knowledge in Node.js is beneficial
  • Experience in event-driven architectures - e.g. with Apache Kafka - would be an advantage
  • Experience with the AWS Cloud is a plus
