Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing
We are looking for a data-driven team player who can think strategically about customer lifecycles across channels. This person will report to our CEO and Chief Growth Strategist with a fast-track towards company leadership.
The ideal candidate has +5 years of lifecycle strategy and hands-on journey building and experimentation experience across ESP/CEPs. The role requires a passion for data-driven strategy, empathy for the end-user, creative sensibility to develop programs that mean something, and the pace to launch and scale high-impact programs at a rapid pace.
Responsibilities
  • Ability to solve complex data challenges as well as internalize business use cases to find creative solutions to push clients forward.
  • Lead a team of technical and creative personnel to implement, measure, and optimize cross-channel communication programs across clients.
  • Manage, nurture, and grow high-profile client relationships.
  • Bridge communication between highly technical team members in IT, product, and analytics, with less-technical executive marketing stakeholders.
  • Identify creative ways to unlock use cases and business opportunities within the inherited stack and data infrastructure.
  • Work with senior technical team members to analyze current technologies used within the company, assess gaps in capabilities, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and communicate the hypothesis, KPIs, and critical elements of a campaign then work with creative resources to develop creative briefs, wireframes and templates for testing programs.
  • Develop, optimize, and scale testing analysis programs and reporting structures to develop insights across clients.
  • Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in a retention, CRM, or lifecycle role.
  • Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or via more formal presentations and demos.
  • Experience managing teams and thinking like a product manager.
  • Experience with strategic and design thinking processes, agile development, and lean methodologies.
  • Experience managing multiple clients and or projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with at least one of the following ESPs/communication toolsets: Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, and Attentive.
  • Expanding knowledge of Martech stack architecture, data infrastructure, privacy compliance, API integrations, advanced segmentation, automation triggering, and cross-channel message execution + a deep curiosity to learn more.
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with CDPs, behavioral analytics, and attribution toolsets including mParticle, Segment, ActionIQ, Treasure Data, AppsFlyer, Branch, Amplitude, and Mixpanel.
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with database and Business Intelligence toolsets including Snowflake, AWS, Looker, Tableau, Mode (SQL experience is a nice to have).

Benefits
Compensation
$135,000 - $175,000
Stacked uses a third-party compensation management company that leverages crowdsourced data to track salary benchmarks. We pay at the 95th percentile based on the New York market.
  • Holidays (including a week off in December), 12 days PTO, and 2 floating holidays
  • $1500 for equipment and office setup allowance
  • $1500 per calendar year for continuing education
  • $600/month contribution for premium-covered healthcare + dental + vision coverage for you (and partner or family)

What to expect from the screening process:
Application questions: A set of questions to help identify whether your skills and interests match the position.
Introductory chat: A conversation with a Stacked team member where you can ask questions about the team and the role and we can get to know you beyond your application.
Solve some puzzles: We will provide a set of exercises and problem sets that will reflect the technical and collaborative capabilities you'll need to be successful at the role.
This will provide us with a sense of how your current strengths and weaknesses line up with the daily activities in the role. It will also give you an opportunity to see how you enjoy solving the puzzles you'll encounter at Stacked. We respect your time and will pay a 4-hour stipend for this practice workset.
Virtual Onsite: Interview with your potential future team members. These interviews will cover technical, work process, and managerial aspects of the job function. You'll also have time to ask questions of the team.
References: We will ask to speak to two or three people who can provide insight into how you work, your opportunities for growth, and the best way to set you up for success.
