Requirements
- Experience with managing and scaling Kubernetes-based environments
- Experience with observability/Distributed Tracing for Microservices
- Knowledge of managing Logging/Metrics/Monitoring stacks for AWS and Kubernetes resources
- Familiarity with architecting multi-regional applications in AWS
- AWS & Kubernetes (EKS) Security + Networking expertise
- Amazon API Gateway and/or Envoy-based API Gateways (Ambassador, Project Contour, Istio Gateway, Gloo, etc)
- PCI Compliance, Security Patching
- Automated Security Remediation
- IaC: Terraform
- Development:
- Go (preferred, but not a must),
- Java
- Python
- Database:
- SQL and NoSQL (1 or more: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, ScyllaDB, Neo4j, etc.)
- Service Mesh: 1 or more: Istio, Consul Connect, AWS AppMesh, Linkerd, Envoy
Nice to Have:
- AWS Step Functions
- DevSecOps workflow model
- Certifications on AWS and Kubernetes (such as CKAD or CKA, AWS SysOps Admin, AWS DevOps Engineer, etc)
