We are Topflight Apps! a team of innovative product managers, founders, designers, and developers. Together our mission is to build products that help millions of lives, and we do that by tackling some of the biggest problems in healthcare and fintech. Our company was founded in 2017 in Irvine, California, and each year since we have roughly doubled, reaching the $4 million revenue mark last year and raising our first seed fund as well.
Due to our expansions, we’re currently looking for a brilliant Technical Lead - Blockchain tojoin our family.

The year 2022 for us is about how we can move much closer to our goal of decentralization by increasing rewards and quality of life for individual users. To that end, we are building an all-star blockchain team that will be able to create competitive Dapps on low-cost, scalable chains like Solana, Terra Luna, Polygon, and Fantom. Products that we will create include decentralized exchanges, stable yield products based on anchor protocol, more aggressive yield farms, and multichain/interoperable products as well. As we enter a crowded and competitive web 3.0 market, we will compete on the same guiding principle we use for web 2.0, which is that the smoothest and most intuitive user experiences will ultimately win.

Responsibilities:
● Collaborating with managers to determine blockchain technology needs and envisaged functionalities.
● Researching, designing, developing, and testing blockchain technologies.
● Creating application features and interfaces by using programming languages and writing multithreaded codes.
● Applying the latest cryptology techniques to protect digital transaction data against cyber attacks and information hacks.
● Maintaining client and server-side applications.
● Optimizing and securing blockchain applications by integrating new tools and technologies.
● Educating sales personnel on blockchain features that allow secure digital payments.
● Documenting blockchain development processes and complying with best practices in data protection.
● Keeping up with current blockchain technologies and cryptography methods.
● Building up and leading a small team of developers with a startup mentality. This includes overseeing the recruitment of new hires and team management for the department.
Required:
● 5+ years of server-side, back-end web development.
● 2+ years of experience as a blockchain developer.
● Advanced proficiency in programming languages, such as C++, Java, and Python
● Extensive experience in back-end development, algorithms, and data structures.
● Knowledge of cryptography and blockchain protocols.
● In-depth knowledge of best practices in blockchain management and data protection.
● Experience with RESTful API design.
● Experience working with open-source projects.
● Experience with Web3 and/or EthersJS.
● Strong programming skills in Solidity.
● Experience with Bitcoin or Ethereum.
● Strong unit and functional testing and debugging skills.
● Deep understanding of algorithm design.
● Excellent problem-solving skills; complexity analysis.
Nice to have:
● Previous experience managing or leading a team or someone who have the aspiration and mindset of leading a team
Understanding or experience with MongoDB.
● Expertise in Rust, Solana, and smart contract design on the Solana blockchain.
● Experience with smart contracts, Machine Learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Important to know:
● Since we are fully remote and our team is across the globe, you are expected to interact with different teams and need to be flexible with different time zones.
● New Joiners with Topflight Apps go through a 1 Month Trial at the start of their employment journey; which requires working part-time. This is to ensure your on-boarding goes smoothly and that both parties are aligned on future expectations.
Annual Salary:
Up to $140,000
