Pearl is a national start-up that certifies high-performing homes: homes with efficient heating and cooling, solar, smart home devices, resilient features and much more. Pearl’s certification drives demand for these improvements by capturing their value for resale and appraisal.
We are growing rapidly, and are looking for a Recruiter to join our dynamic, supportive team to work remotely from anywhere in the US. (We have been fully remote since our founding.)
As a Recruiter, you will:
  • Be the third person in our growing People Services Department (reporting to the People Services & Legal Manager), and have a role in establishing and improving Pearl’s hiring practices as we grow - we expect exponential growth in 2022
  • Work with hiring managers to identify position requirements; create and post job advertisements; source qualified, diverse candidates across the most appropriate recruiting channels with special focus on improving pipeline quality and quantity
  • Manage the recruiting pipeline from start to finish, including administrative functions associated with the hiring process: establish appropriate interview stages, screen candidates and select top performers for final interviews, coordinate interview schedules with candidates and internal stakeholders
What we’re looking for in a Recruiter:
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing effective recruiting practices
  • Previous startup experience, particularly recruiting during a high growth period
  • Team player with a hands-on attitude, and good relationship building and influencing skills
  • High EQ; adept at reading an audience and dealing sensitively with other people
  • Attention to detail, excellent research and organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Authorization to legally work in the US
  • Please note that Pearl requires employees to be fully vaccinated for business travel and in-person meetings. Infrequent travel for team and/or company wide meetings is anticipated for all positions.
Nice to have:
  • Experience in any of the following fields: home contracting, solar, energy efficiency, building performance, building science

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary in the range of $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience and market conditions, plus stock options
  • Medical, vision and dental coverage provided for employees and their families, with optional upgrade coverage, where the employee covers only the difference in cost
