About You
We’re looking for a self-driven software engineer that wants to see their work have a direct impact in the future of ecommerce automation. You’ll work remotely, but collaborate daily with our growing engineering team of seven so strong communication skills and a love of working on a team is a must.
You’ll Get To
- Work on a close-knit engineering team to build and ship new features on our ecommerce automation platform MESA.
- Work on the full stack, including writing backend APIs, front-end JavaScript code, styling, and integrating with loads of third party services.
- Debug complex issues ranging from front-end Javascript code, to backend workers making multiple external API calls.
- See your work get shipped to production multiple times per month and obsessively measure the effectiveness of feature improvements.
- Provide input to help shape the product roadmap and technical tooling.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years working as a software developer
- In-depth knowledge of JSON, RESTful APIs and oAuth 2.0 authentication protocols
- Proficiency with ReactJS and modern build systems
- Experience with PHP
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with automated testing
- Familiarity with Shopify or e-commerce is a plus
