Product Manager
SystemOne is looking for a product manager who will be responsible for the overall success of our product line. You will be responsible for managing the product's lifecycle from development to product launch and bringing our company's vision and strategy to life. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Required Qualifications
● A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field; MBA preferred
● A minimum of 5 years experience in product management or a related field
● Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
● Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
● High level of comfort with technology and its development
● Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
● Excellent documentation skills along with in-depth knowledge of product strategy
● Experience creating detailed reports and presentations to senior executives and key stakeholders
● A track record of successfully making and keeping commitments
● Be sensitive to cultural nuances and diversity in interacting and dealing with colleagues and customers spanning multiple countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
● Be flexible to operate remotely and across different time zones.
● Experience in the healthcare field or SaaS products would be preferred.
Product Manager Responsibilities
● Obtain and understand customer feedback, and translate marketback into product requirements
● Research and suggest new product development and refinements for existing products
● Lead the development team in creating the product road map
● Contribute to product pricing strategies
● Contribute to the marketing and PR strategies for company products and services
● Support the sales team by providing product information and demos
● Research and suggest new product development and refinements for existing products
● Making tradeoffs between features, schedule, and costs based on their relationship to business goals, company policies, software architecture constraints, and software development team capacity
● Remain abreast of the latest industry trends and technology
