Front-end web development is your favourite activity anyway? Are your interested in speech and language technology in educational applications? Are you a keen learner? around in software development and especially with frontend tools. You are a professional and use frontend tools that enable you to write the best software in a professional environment. An environment in which you are not afraid on to tell about how you think about certain things and are willing to make it better together with the team.
At ITSLanguage, for frontend development, we make use of some JavaScript libraries such as ReactJS, styled-components, Redux but we also use tools like git, an issue tracker and docker, but also do you know why we write tests and perform code reviews?
Your skills
- You have an intrinsic motivation for code
- Experience in several programming languages
- Fluent in English speaking/wording. Dutch is a plus
- A finished computer science education
What to expect from us
Your work at ITSLanguage contains quite some variation. Frontend development ranging from a serious games to learn and assess vocabulary, all the way to courseware to assess speaking skills. Your work will have a serious impact on the learning outcome of most children. A new project is starting where we build a new electronic learning environment based on the most modern web technologies, including websockets for multi-player educational gaming. That’s where you come in. In a later stage you’ll also be contributing to improve our open source Javascript SDK that we offer clients to do their own implementation.
