Job Description
We are looking for 2 exceptional and ambitious developers who enjoy working both on front-end and back-end development. You will be part of our product team responsible for customer acquisition through Tutuka’s website. Our goal is to explain our products and the company’s vision to our existing and potential clients in a meaningful and visually attractive way facilitating the interaction with our new business team. The right person for this role has a strong frontend developer experience as well as a deep overall experience of software development. We already have a team of amazing developers that work out of our local offices in Johannesburg, South Africa as well as remotely across Europe and Southeast Asia, and now we need you!What you will be doing· Work with the product team to ideate and improve software solutions· Design and implementation of the overall web architecture· “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface· Designing user interactions on web pages· Design and deployment of our database· Ensure the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability· Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency· Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software· Create security and data protection settings· Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design· Write technical documentation
Qualifications

Beyond that we are looking for developers:
- With 3+ years of software development experience designing and building web-based scalable services
- With a Degree in Computer Science
- Proficiency in fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a must.
- Familiar with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net
- With an understanding of user experience and product strategy
- With experience architecting and building applications or web services at scale
- That has proven an ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision
- Passionate about operational excellence and continuous process improvement
- Who love to write great software
- Who are passionate about their craft
- With outstanding English communications skills
Bonus track:
· Digital marketing techniques – e.g. growth hacking, A/B testing
· Experience in FinTech, traditional financial services or cryptocurrencies
· Experience at an organization that has scaled quickly
· Experience at an organization that has built culture across distributed offices

This a remote position. Preferably we are looking for colleagues in time zones between UTC-1 and UTC+4. But good candidates outside these time zones will be also considered for this role!
