We are currently a remote team and are open to remote applications from all over the world (preferably within 3 hours from London). However, if you’re based in London you can work with the Founder, Ops and the Tech Lead in the heart of Shoreditch. The role
Are you an administrative professional looking for a dynamic and growing organization that will both challenge and reward you? We are looking for an Office Assistant to provide back-up to the Operations team, and accounting-related support. The Back Office Assistant at Hopin must be able to juggle many moving parts with extensive organizational skills and attention to detail. We are a rapidly growing company and seek someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Process mail and email
  • Input invoices into accounting software and pay bills
  • Enter detailed inventory information into point of sale software system
  • Support team in admin tasks including contracting & invoicing
  • Coordinate team traveling
  • Constant communication with diverse vendors and provider
  • Manage welcome pack for new joiners
  • Process monthly and quarterly tax forms and payments with local, state, and federal taxing authorities
  • Take care of the purchase of company equipment and follow-up with orders and payments
  • Make sure the invoices are getting paid
  • Diverse admin tasks
Qualification
  • +1 year administrative experience; prior accounting-related experience, preferred
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Understanding of startups and tools like Slack, HubSpot, and other CRMs
  • Super motivated, can-do attitude, problem solver, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Team player who can work cross-functionally across multiple departments.
  • Passionate about technology
  • Previous startup experience a plus, especially in SaaS
