Full stack developer (Ruby on Rails, React.js) - Remote

CRISP STUDIO is looking for a full developer with a strong Ruby & React.js experience and a passion for cloud technology and APIs.
We are looking for a person who is able to produce clean and structured backend code and pixel perfect frontend implementations, suggest improvements where necessary and create web applications which are simply a pleasure to look at and interact with.
We are a rapidly growing e-commerce agency with a base in Barcelona, Spain and a team across various cities in Europe. You can expect to work on solutions for leading e-commerce brands here in Spain and some very well known global names as well.
You will:
— Work on a wide range of challenging projects and solve interesting problems
— Help plan and define the scope of new projects and features
— Follow well-built design and high-quality implementation practices
— Integrate with databases, file systems, cloud services and various 3rd party services
— Continually look to innovate and learn new strategies and technologies
— Mentor your teammates
Skills to shine:
— Passion for building things and solving problems
— OOP, MV* patterns knowledge
— Strong knowledge of Ruby & JavaScript
— Experience with frontend and backend frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Express)
— SQL / NoSQL experience
— Capable of finding solutions to any issue/task
— Good English language skills
Bonus points if you have:
— Knowledge of Linux and bash scripting experience
— Serverside optimization experience
— Knowledge of Software Architectural Patterns
— Understanding of unit-testing (TDD / BDD) and CI
— Amazon AWS experience
— An eye for a good UX/UI design
