YOUR MISSION
- Make Hypatos cut all manual and repetitive or paper-based work in accounting
- Build Hypatos to help any size company in making good decisions in accounting
- Live Software Engineering, build serious and slick software, run it, break it (sometimes) and have fun doing it together
- Work on software components based on AI/Machine Learning for understanding documents and accounting data
- Work on engineering document workflow: document storage, OCR processing, accounting, payment matching and approval process
- Develop software with state-of-the-art tech stack with usual suspects, such as JavaScript, Go, Python, AWS, Hashicorp Consul/Vault, Prometheus, Kubernetes
- Make software production ready and run it on our own secure infrastructure running Kubernetes, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Find synergies, support your colleagues, learn from each other, and build your team
YOUR PROFILE
- You are developer with all your heart, a Software Craft(wo)man or a Software Artist
- At least 5 years of experience in professional software development (a university degree in IT or finance is a plus)
- Be comfortable in at least two of the following languages: Javascript, Go, Java, Python, Scala, Haskell or Ruby
- You have worked with NodeJS, SailsJS, Play Framework or Spring Boot, emberjs or similar modern frameworks
- You master SQL and No-SQL databases, such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB
- You worked with Docker and with orchestration, such as Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Hashicorp Nomad, Mesos or Docker Swarm
- You are able to run what you build
