- The Sr. Staff Software Engineer in Test will drive defect prevention throughout the software development lifecycle.
- As a Sr. Staff Software Engineer in Test, you will architect, design and implement the automated test infrastructure and tests. You will improve the quality of products and accelerate the product delivery.
- Your focus is developing code (for both the test infrastructure and test scripts) that finds bugs. You will collaborate with architects in other functional areas on common problems across products.

- Value, risk, cost and technological complexity evaluation to formulate the automation test strategy and scope.
- Assist with test plan articulation, planning, and management of individual testing events.
- Architect/Design test automation framework and develop the new test automation libraries. The framework should be designed in such a way that it increases and speeds up their productivity.
- You will be a creative and proactive thinker and you will make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.
- Collaborate with the build master to implement/improve build test processes, environments, and scripts. These build tests ensure that the code drops to quality assurance are of the highest quality.
- Evaluate and utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance.
- Design & build test harnesses for Automation Testing.
- Participate in the development and support multiple testing efforts for various programs simultaneously.
- Identify testable events and develop the test cases / test scripts.
- Define and implement automation testing process for all work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
- Be a part of an ongoing effort to bring new testing knowledge into the team.
- Team lead experience with offshore – onshore model
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with a minimum of 6 + years of software experience; combination of testing and software development experience and education is acceptable.
- Demonstrated experience leading a software testing team, estimating work, meeting quality and timeline expectations.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++
- Experience in a regulated software development environment desired.
- Strong aptitude and interest in automated system and software testing
- Demonstrated experience in the following: software testing methods, test plan and test case development, software risk analysis and software development practices.
