Tech Stack:
- Frontend: React.js, Redux, ES6, HTML, CSS.
- Backend: REST API’s, Go, Java 8, Spring Boot, Tomcat, MongoDB.
- Platform: Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Circle CI.
Why is the role needed?
You’ll join the OneHub Recognition squad as their Senior Frontend Engineer. You’ll be taking the lead on frontend decisions and oversee/mentor the Frontend Engineer (mid level) in the team.
Home is in v.1 stage and the focus now is on building new services that allow users to configure their own worfkflows, content and layout of the portal to help their team feel engaged. Some of the early services were built in Java/Spring but all new services will be built in Go.
What will you be tasked with?
- Work closely with the UX Designer to translate designs seamlessly into frontend components thinking about accessibility, usability and implementation. We’d like someone that is comfortable having input during the design phase and enjoys collaborating with the UX Designer.
- Designing and building new frontend components using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Working with the wider Frontend Chapter to ensure the frontend architecture, design and styling stays consistent across products
- Overseeing and mentoring the Frontend Engineer within the squad
What experience/skills Benefex would like to see:
- Designing and building new frontend features in React, Redux ES6, HTML, CSS with responsive web design principles
- Experience working on software built on REST API’s
- Working closely with product and design to build slick, user-centric features
- Having input during the UX/design phase, the designers use XD and Figma
- Feeling comfortable taking frontend features from requirements to production
- Experience working within an Agile methodology
A huge plus would be:
- Mobile experience – iOS or Android

- Salary: £55,000-75,000
