The Director of Commerce Delivery will lead, manage, coach, and inspire a team of Ecommerce Strategists and Project Managers to create and deliver high-quality eCommerce experiences for disruptive mission-driven brands. You'll own, plan, and implement strategies to standardize methodologies for our eCommerce website and conversion optimization delivery services with a talented team to consistently deliver measurable client ROI, enhance service efficiency, and increase account + project profitability.
You'll hold a very high standard for quality to ensure your delivery team is always inspired, excited, held-accountable, always bringing it, and delivering the best-in-class services.

  • You have experience managing more than 10 eCommerce builds in a year for B2C/B2B clients
  • You can demonstrate clear past success in account and project profitability
  • You have a Scrum / PMP Certification
  • You have experience with Shopify Plus / BigCommerce
  • You can articulate your position on the pros/cons of various project management methodologies
  • You have more than 5+ years of agency experience
  • You have experience leading a team of at least 3-5 direct reports
Your Core Responsibilities will include:
  • Monitor and manage resource capacity, account/project allocation, and utilization for strategy and project management
  • Work alongside the Director of Design & Development on resource account/project allocation.
  • Responsible for ensuring the profitability of client retainer accounts and website projects.
  • Create repeatable and universal cross-functional systems, processes, and workflows between strategy and project management teams.
  • Be the go-to POC for direct reports with client escalations to help mitigate issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure we're delivering measurable ROI driven services with quality always top of mind.
  • Resolve impediments and blockers while proactively managing workflow through effective sprint planning
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies between departments and develop solutions when needed.
  • Own overall quality of scrum team output and delivery schedule
  • Implement new services offerings and technologies within departments
  • Support sales with solution development to help close new business.
  • Work with direct reports to create new value-driven services to increase agency revenue and profitability.
  • Work with operations to reallocate cross-functional resources and work according to evolving priorities; Effectively managing resources & capacity planning
  • Resolve impediments and blockers while proactively managing workflow through effective sprint planning
  • Maintain working knowledge of Project Management software/tools while adhering to Project Management & eCommerce best practices
To be successful in this role, you'll already have:
  • 5+ years of relevant project management leadership experience
  • Experience working and leading teams in SCRUM & Agile methodologies
  • HTML, CSS, JS knowledge
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and tools (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, etc..)
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Strong communication skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team or execution resources autonomously
  • Passion for driving and implementing process improvement
  • Solutions-oriented approach to solving complex problems and challenges while maintaining optimism and practicality
