Role Description
As a frontend engineer, you should have 4+ years of experience in full stack web development, and 2+ years with Angular 8-11. An eye for good UI design is important, as you will be helping to define the user-facing presentation of the company and its software. You should be familiar with good RESTful service development as you will work with the backend developers to define the contract by which the front and backends will communicate. You will interact with Architects, Public Health Administrators and Clinical Users, Peer Developers, QA, and Project Managers to analyze system requirements, design and develop software solutions and enhancements.
Your future roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for sound and high-quality technical deliverables.
- Analyze, quantify and estimate the amount of work for every sprint or release.
- Work in an Agile environment and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the business and its customers.
- Sense of urgency to develop or fix issues to deliver on time and with highest quality.
- Code with minimal bugs and incorporating the best practices of UI design and development.
Soft qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Experience with Agile Methodology (primarily Scrum)
- Ability to work well cooperatively with a team
- Jira/Confluence, and ability to document one's code and processes.
Technical qualifications:
- Angular +8-11, Nginx, Docker, bash scripting, HTML/CSS/Javascript, Git
- Web security best practices (particularly with angular + nginx)
- RESTful service integration
- Jira/Confluence, and ability to document one's code and processes.
- Scrum process
- Nice to have: AWS experience, ReactJs
