QA Software Engineer (Frontend or Backend)

We are looking for two experienced and skilled QA Engineers to join our growing software development team at SelfDecode.
Candidates with supreme abilities in communication and work ethic, in addition to outstanding QA skills, will be given priority.
You may apply to either the Frontend or Backend role through this ad; you do not need to have the skills for both positions.

Role Aspects:
- Full time - we expect people to put in 40 hrs a week or more
- Fully Remote.
- No agencies.
- Salary: $10-$15/hr USD as a contractor - depending on skills, experience, proficiency in our tech stack, etc...
- Equity is also available for outstanding applicants and those with leadership abilities - people who can take on a leadership role.
Requirements:
Frontend
- Experience with Typescript and jest
- Experience with Selenium, Cyprus or other e2e frameworks
- Experience writing unit, and end to end tests
- Experience writing test plans and test cases
- Experience with white-box and black-box testing
Backend
- Experience with Python and pytest
- Experience writing unit, and integration tests
- Experience writing test plans and test cases
- Experience with white-box and black-box testing
Extra tech and experience is a plus.
