We are happy to invite you to join our Android development team at the Farmy IT Department headquaters in Barcelona, Spain.
Farmy develops and runs a transparent and regional food retail platform which connects customers with farmers’ product supplies directly. When you place an order with Farmy, you get fresh food, which on the same day was collected at the farmyard, right to your doorstep or your favorite cafe – a thing, no conventional retail chain can give you. Our customers love eating healthy and fresh food, and with over 10,000 products on sale in our catalog, we do try to satisfy their appetite with every update.
Our company is growing rapidly, after five successful years on the Swiss market, preparing for expansion and we’re hiring.
Tasks
- Maintenance and development of user and enterprise Android applications
- Participation in user experience design
- Implementation of tests
Requirements
- Written and spoken English
- Kotlin, Java and JVM knowledge
- Experience with Android SDK
- Familiarity with Android app building blocks
- Have published at least one original Android app
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
- Practical knowledge of the general mobile best practices, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies
