System Administrator / DevOps (Remote)

We’re looking for a motivated System Administrator / DevOps engineer to join our team. Location
Bologna and Milan, Italy or remote.Both our offices are incredibly nice places to work from, both located in the center of their respective cities, however, Given the COVID-19 global situation, we are offering until further notice only the fully remote option.
Skills & Requirements
  • System administration skills on Linux platforms (Debian/Ubuntu).
  • Server stack configuration and optimization skills (Apache/Nginx).
  • A solid understanding of web application architecture, including DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and load balancing.
  • Experience with GitHub and a solid understanding of Git core concepts.
  • Containerization experience with Docker.
  • Experience with orchestration tools, Kubernetes above all.
  • Continuous integration / continuous delivery and deployment skills.
  • Knowledge of GitOps concepts and related tools (ArgoCD as the management tool, Help + Kustomize + plain YAML manifests based on applications’ maturity)
  • Solid experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Understanding of relational (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis and their administration
  • Security issues as they relate to cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Scripting with Bash and Python.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have a very good command of written and spoken English.
Added values
  • Experience w/ configuration management tools.
  • Backend development skills, preferably w/ Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience with CDNs and with Akamai in particular.
  • Scripting w/ Ruby.
  • Experience using automated monitoring tools.
