Senior Full Stack Developer (typescript, react, aws)

JBS is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with experience in AWS Serverless Technologies (Lambda and DynamoDB). The candidate should feel comfortable with full stack development; possessing strong react and typescript skills. This role will revolve around maintenance and site enhancements led in a test driven development environment. Additionally, this role will be working in an agile environment with a mixed team of JBS engineers and our client’s engineering team.
Required Skills
- Production node experience
- Production react experience
- Experience with AWS Lambda
- Additional Serverless experience includes: DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, step functions, and cloud watch/monitoring
- 3+ years working with modern Typescript
- Microservices architectures
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to accurately estimate work
- Strong computer science background
- Commitment to provide quality completed deliverables with well-factored, maintainable code
- Experience with VCS (git, hg, and either github or bitbucket)
Nice To Have Skills
- 3+ years working with Python
- 3+ years working with open-source relational database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Building and designing REST-based web services using JSON
- Cloud-based DevOps
- AWS (SNS, SQS, Dynamo DB)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
