• As a Java DevOps you will work on the state-of-the-art payment infrastructure• You will work in one of our scrum teams which are fully responsible for their applications from code to production (DevOps)• You will work on services under high constraints (speed, high availability, integrity, robustness, quality, …)• You will find highly motivated international teammates. We always improve on our continuous delivery pipeline as well as on our deployment infrastructure.
Signs of success• You collaborate successfully with other developers to craft new software solutions• You develop test concepts that prove the quality of our product• You examine existing code, identifying flaws and building solutions to improve• You help execute full software development processes for each assigned project, adhering to company standards and expectations
Skills we can’t do without:• Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in computer science, software engineering or another related field• Excellent Java knowledge, Java EE / CDI • ORACLE SQL, Hibernate• Maven, Git, Docker,• JBoss, Wildfly• Very good English knowledge• Validated ability to document design processes, including development, tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
Skills we’d like:• The relentless will to learn new things and continuously improve• The natural will to take ownership• Practical experience with version control systems (e. g. Git, Subversion)• Knowledge of agile methods (e. g. Scrum, Kanban)• Wish to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and educational opportunities
