Senior React Engineer
Spark Digital
We are looking for a Senior React Engineer to work with one of our US-based clients, which is a leading provider of digital educational services to colleges and universities and corporations and businesses, including higher education programs, professional training and certifications, test preparation and student support services.
As part of the team, you will be participating in the development and growth of the Exam Prep Marketing and eCommerce platforms. This will include some re-architecture and/or re-platforming of the front end experiences.
You are the one if you have:
- Deep knowledge and vast experience with JavaScript and React
- Experience using asynchronous programming
- Strong web services API skills
- Experience with modern web stack technologies, including CSS, SPA, GraphQL with ability to adapt to new technologies and programming languages
- Solid experience performing application diagnostics and using diagnostic tools (Fiddler, IE Inspector, etc.)
- Experience with software development practices, such as Continuous Integration (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of software build tools (Webpack, MsBuild) and automated deployments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English)
- Experience working with distributed teams and foreign clients
- Familiarity with software development methodology using Agile Scrum/Kanban
It's a plus if you have experience with:
- Web application development using MVC and WebAPI frameworks in C# with .NET Framework
- Content Management Systems, such as Sitefinity
- Cloud Native (AWS) technologies and deployments (Serverless, etc.)
- Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Application support using PHP (Laravel)
