Full Stack Scala Developer - CA (Remote)

Must have:
- 4+ years work experience as a full-stack developer
- 2+ years experience in Scala
- 1+ year(s) experience in Play Framework
- 1+ year(s) experience in REST API development
- Demonstrable knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Json, and jQuery
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Experience with web template systems/engines
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases and PostgreSQL
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
- In-depth knowledge of OOP and functional programming
- Familiarity with unit/functional testing
- Experience with Git and code release processes
- Experience with AWS services
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
- Practical experience with Java, Haskell, or Go
- Practical experience with MVC frameworks
- Practical experience with Akka toolkit
- Experience using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks
- Working knowledge of AWS DynamoDB
- Experience with Material Design
- Experience with Telerik Kendo UI
