Country Lead (U.S.A)

Raisely

We’re looking to strengthen our Growth Team and find someone who can take on the challenge of driving Raisely’s ambitious growth plans to build our base of organisations using Raisely in North America.
We think this role is perfect for someone who is deeply connected to the world of digital fundraising and has a strong network in the non-profit sector. Fantastic people skills and an entrepreneurial can-do mindset are essential. Experience in a sales environment would be an advantage.
You’ll be responsible for developing and managing the growth of Raisely’s North American business. Working closely with the Growth and Marketing team you’ll be helping to grow brand awareness and build partnerships with influencers and agencies in the non-profit space.
This is a leadership role and with that will come the autonomy and scope to tackle the challenge of our go to market strategy in whatever you see fits the best. You’ll have the chance to build a team of account executives and operate with an opportunity-filled budget to bring your plans for expansion to life.
Reporting directly to our Head of Growth, you’ll also work across our company to ensure that customer experience from their first touch point to going live is outstanding. You’ll identify opportunities to improve, and help steer our team towards our ambitious growth goals.
This is a full-time, permanent role. Raisely is a 100% remote company, you will be able to work from home or a co-working office. You’ll be mentored by, and report to, one of our Technical Leads.
Role: Permanent, full-time (38hrs/week)Location: Remote in United States - Preferably based in one of these regions: Pacific North West or New York CityTimezone: North America
If you worked here over the past few months, you might have:
  • Traveled interstate to present to a large charity at the board level with multiple stakeholders.
  • Attended an industry conference to grow your network, and learn about the latest trends in fundraising.
  • Used your established network to build your sales pipeline.
  • Teamed up with an agency partner to deliver a data insights white paper for lead generation
  • Participated in our week-long virtual retreat, where you learnt how sneaky your teammates can be in Among Us!
  • Worked with the marketing team to deliver a webinar on a major feature release
  • Delivered your fifth demo via zoom in a week and loved talking to such a wide variety of people working for incredible causes.
  • Dialled into a product training session with your teammates to polish up on your understanding of Raisely features.
  • Beat your teammates in trivia while wearing an elf costume.
Now about you....
You are an independent and experienced digital fundraiser. You’ll hit the ground running, and have extensive networks that you can leverage. You’re happy to self manage, and can identify when you need to bring in others. You’re excited by the promise of Raisely, and the opportunity to own our business in North America.
You are an excellent communicator. You know how to make connections, are a great networker and can build relatedness quickly and confidently.
You are ambitious and love to close the deal or hit targets. You might have worked in a Sales environment before and understand the methodology. You have a track record of hitting and exceeding goals.
You’re entrepreneurial. You see opportunities to test, create and grow where others might not. You love the idea of working for a Saas.
You care about making a difference. We’re all here because we want to make the world better (and by that we mean a carbon-neutral utopia with world peace and just laws, where all people are treated the same with equal opportunity to thrive). So you’ve gotta want that too!
Ok, and why work with us?
You spend nearly 2000 hours of your life at work, each year. That’s a huge commitment, so we can promise that every hour you’re spending with Raisely, you’re making the world a better place. Pretty great perk, hey?
Plus, the more you help us grow, the bigger our impact gets. And by that we’re talking hundreds of millions of dollars big.
Working at Raisely is unique. If you have a great idea, we’ll help you make it happen. You'll play a pivotal role in the success of hundreds of fundraising campaigns on our platform, and help shape our company as we grow.
