- As part of a growing data team, you will work on our new data science projects
- You will work on all cycles of the data science projects
- You will analyze requirements in collaboration with our stakeholders from product development, marketing and business
- You will work on data collection and data preparation
- You perform exploratory analyses and visualizations
- You evaluate different statistical and machine-learning approaches and develop a proof of concept to make our business data most usable for data products
- You will help deploy the models and develop monitoring for their performance
- To do this, you will support the data team with statistical analysis and provide your insights in Tableau reports
- You will work closely with stakeholders from the customer-focused teams from problem definition to solution finding
- In the preparation and communication of your results, you succeed in ensuring that even colleagues without previous statistical experience can follow you effortlessly
... and what you're bringing in return
- You have a degree, preferably with a focus on economics, computer science and statistics or relevant experience in a comparable position
- You have already gained at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the position of a Data Scientist
- You have profound knowledge in the application of statistical methods (e.g. time series analysis, regression analysis, statistical hypothesis testing) and are well versed in ML/NN methods (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and know their advantages and disadvantages in practical application
- You are proficient in one or more programming languages for statistical analysis (preferably R or Python) and know SQL well. Git is also part of your repertoire.
- You ideally have experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. GCP).
- You are inquisitive and excited to learn new technologies and methodologies
- You enjoy working in an agile environment and collaborating with different teams
- You find it easy to adapt to your counterpart in communication and you believe that the best results are achieved together as a team
- Since you read this ad in English, you will probably be fluent in it – which is great since English is our company language.
