Fantastic INTERNATIONALLY REMOTE* opportunity for a passionate and creative Marketing Communications Manager to join a VC-funded, remote-first start-up focussed on building the future of multi-country employment & payroll.
This role will be perfectly suited for someone whose strengths lie in the creative and communication side of marketing and who is proactive and prefers to forge the path forward rather than inherit an existing plan.

Boundless was born from the belief that people should have the freedom to work from wherever they want, without forfeiting their right to secure employment. We started by looking for ways to offer compliance across borders. It's what our founders had all struggled with in previous teams. But along the way, we figured that this is about so much more than ticking compliance boxes. We have since been raising the bar of what great remote employment looks like. Within each new country where we establish operations, we try to set the gold standard of remote employment. Currently, 21 people across 9 countries are working hard to achieve our mission.

THE ROLE
In our small but growing startup team, you will work closely with our CEO, Head of Communications and Growth Marketer as well as with external consultants and agencies. Your creativity and knack for communications will directly contribute to the evolution of a startup that matures into a scale-up and you will be part of all the experimenting that involves. You will do all that from a remote location in any of the countries where Boundless supports employment.
You will be responsible for:
  • Creating and implementing communication plans to increase market share
  • Promoting and evolving the Boundless brand
  • Managing Boundless' social media accounts to engage and grow our audience
  • Managing the development of marketing collateral consistent with the brand
  • Organising and hosting events and webinars
  • Commissioning or conducting market research
  • Liaising with external PR and marketing agencies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams - from creative, sales and product to HR, payroll and legal - to produce effective promotional materials
  • Providing general marketing support to the organisation on an ad-hoc basis
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
  • Previous marketing and communications experience in a B2B startup with a track record of implementing successful marketing and communications campaigns & brand development initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in running B2B Linkedin and Twitter accounts
  • Focus on quality and attention to detail
  • A startup mentality with the ability to deal with uncertainty in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about joining a mission-driven business
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results against tight deadlines
  • Experience of or willingness to work in an internationally distributed team
  • A marketing degree or equivalent will be an advantage
  • Experience with video production will also be an advantage

Flexible working hours - We work a standard 8 hours day but our core hours are 11.00-15.00 Dublin time, where you are expected to be contactable - leaving you to fit in the remaining 4 hours whenever works best for you.
